First of all, sorry for the video error that you got if you tried to watch "Olivia Sucking Her Soother" yesterday. I accidentally marked the video as private. I've since now fixed it and should be available for you to watch now:) You can find it HERE.
Okay, I'm well rested today. I think I'm FINALLY catching up on some sleep. It's been a real challenge to get everything done in one day it seems like I don't have much time to do any things I enjoy doing (well besides visiting Olivia of course!:) ). I've been experimenting with timing all my daily chores at certain times to see if I can actually fit in a Starbucks visit. I think I'm getting closer.
Moving on here...Yesterday I got in earlier to visit my girl! Yay me! Was a struggle but I got to the hospital at 1:30 yesterday. Before I headed to see Olivia I decided to have a bit of break and park the car at Janeese's Place and sit out on the grass there with my blankets and pillows (I have all my "camping" gear in the trunk so I can rest anywhere:) ). Even though I didn't actually have a nap it was nice just to relax and lay down.
After about an hour of relaxing I headed over the NICU. I got myself settled in and made my lunch there so I could sit and eat and hold Olivia at the same time. (Now I'm thinking! Multitasking!!). We had a great session once again yesterday. Oh btw, if you're wondering about her weight, she broke 800 grams yesterday! She weighed 805 grams! But, don't get to excited, haha...she had two MASIVE poops yesterday just for me. I was the lucky recipient to change her diaper and oh my goodness!! I've never seen such a huge #2 for such a tiny girl! She was smiling while I was changing her diaper, go figure haha. So, she might have lost a bit of weight for today but I'll let you know:) Thanks Olivia for your lovely gifts:)
Olivia and I sat together for 2 hours yesterday. Another awesome cuddle. She was wide awake for awhile again at the beginning just watching me, smiling away and then finally she got to sleep. I really do think that pillow I got helps! We will have to see what Jeff thinks of the pillow, perhaps tonight?
Here's Olivia after our afternoon cuddle, such a cutie!

Oh, and I forgot almost! I even got a short video of her smiling again. You can view that HERE. (I'll make sure this time the video plays for you this time:) ).
Okay, I keep forgetting things here...sorry! Yesterday when I went to get the mail Olivia got another parcel!

Who is it from? It's from Jeff's Aunt and Uncle, Gloria and Rory! (Sorry Gloria and Rory if you sent this awhile ago. I've been neglecting the mailbox for awhile and check it whenever it comes to my mind!) What was in it? You'll never guess! So cute!!
Another book! This is the cutest book ever! Where did you find this book, Gloria and Rory? I see there's a whole series of them! We will have to collect them all! What a LUCKY girl, Olivia! Thanks so much, Gloria and Rory! I will be taking this book into this afternoon and reading it to her:) I've actually been singing her the ABC song so this will come handy! She will know here ABC's by the time she's out of the NICU:)
I'll be heading into the NICU this afternoon to visit Olivia with Shauna. Shauna is a friend of mine who actually just had her first baby last year:) Hopefully someday Olivia and her little boy will play together but right now, he's a lot bigger than she is, haha...
Oh, and I'll also have a chance to play some music for Olivia today! I'm so excited! I'm going to make her a playlist of cello music (thing's I've played when I was pregnant with her) to see what she does. I'll await the violin music for now as it's too high pitched and she might not react well. Stay tuned for that blog tomorrow! So excited!
Time to have tea and breakfast now but I hope you enjoyed reading this blog! I love writing in the mornings, don't know why I didn't think of this earlier!:)
QUESTION OF THE DAY: What was your first word when you were a baby? comment below, would love to hear your cute words!
Cheers everyone!
