Besides going back and forth everyday to the hospital spending 6-9 hours a day there, I've had some visitors stop by too visit Olivia and I. I had another student come by this week to visit (Catherine!) who hadn't seen Olivia yet. Catherine brought Olivia her first Christmas ornament as well as one of her favourite books that she loved to read to her children when they were little. (I regret not taking a photo of them! I will when I get home so you can see them!). I do, however, have a photo of Catherine visiting:)
This will be just a quick update on Olivia. No too much going on with her other than she's gained a lot more weight! She's up to 1277 grams! (2.8 pounds!). She'll defiantly make it up to 3 pounds for her 8 week birthday! Way to go, my little superstar! She's off of the bipap machine and onto a optiflow machine which is a step up from bipap! It doesn't give as much flow as the bipap. She doesn't need to wear her hat anymore!! I went to see her this afternoon and I didn't recognize her. I couldn't figure out what was different about her! She looked huge! haha. Then they were explaining it and said that she doesn't need her hat anymore and I clued in! That's what was different! Here she is on her optiflow! She looks so different and adorable!
Another cute then is that I finally decided to put some clothes on her! All the other babies in her room had clothes on so I got the smallest clothes I had for her and brought them in. This is what fit her! Now she just looks extra extra extra adorable!!
Today my mom is coming over (Grandma Eleanor) and Maggie to visit Olivia for the day. They haven't seen her in 3-4 weeks! They'll see a huge difference! My mom has told me that she has some preemie clothes for her to wear in the hospital so that'll be fun to play dress up with her today. Apparently there's a jogging suit for her! haha..My little runner! I'll defiantly have to take some photos of her in her new clothes for you! It'll probably be over a few days since I don't want to keep changing her outfit. Such a spoiled girl!
Oh, when Jeff and I went in to visit last night I got to weigh her again. Guess what! She made 1300!! She's 2.8 pounds now!! So impressive Olivia! Keep it up! Here are a couple of shots of Olivia and Jeff last night. She's so adorable!!
Anyways, just got a text from my Mom that she's almost at the hospital so I should probably log off here and get going!:)
Thanks for following Olivia's blog! Hope you're enjoying the posts!:)
