When Shauna came by she brought Olivia a small gift. Here is me "wearing" them. So cute!!
Oh, before I forget, yesterday one of my students, Maria, came by with a super nice gift for Olivia. I never thought of this gift but she brought me a jogging suit for Olivia with these adorable running shoes! Omg, you have to see this! She also got us a couple of gift cards for Mommy and Daddy to use at Walmart and Gas. Thanks so much, Maria!
Moving back to visiting Olivia yesterday. After Shauna left I had a bit of time to spend with Olivia for a bit alone. We got to cuddle again. I try to cuddle her once a day for at least and hour or two as it's super important for her growth as well as bonding time. Olivia was very lucky yesterday as Daddy came back twice last night! He came just after work with his Mom to visit as well as he came again back in the evening after dinner to cuddle her as well. She did an amazing job (so did you Dad!) as she worked her way down to only using 21% oxygen (room air)! She was so relaxed with Daddy last night. So great to see! Also great to see Daddy relaxed too!:) He loved the new pillow we got the other day for cuddling Olivia. Here is Olivia cuddling with me. I always keep my camera with me while I cuddle as you never know what cute moment might come up, like this one!
On to some fun stuff here. Remember when I was telling you the other day about this project I was working on for Olivia at home and I forgot to take a picture of it. Well, I put a reminder in my phone last night to get one so here it is! I'm super excited to share this with you as well as the nurses and doctors in the NICU. They all seem to enjoy it.
Anyways, that's about all that's new with our little family. I'll be heading into the NICU shortly to see our girl.
Before I sign off here, here's a new question of the day for you all. Let's hear your answers!:)
